Story Behind the Photo – A Favorite Moment Captured
Just before heading home after a delightful stroll through Meigetsu-in, I captured this favorite shot of the day. The noon sun was growing stronger, so I took a break in the shade of the trees. The sunlight filtering through the maple leaves transformed them into a radiant green canopy, enhancing the beauty of the hydrangeas. This blend of vibrant greens and blues, framed by the historic gate, encapsulates the peaceful atmosphere of Meigetsu-in.
From an Amateur Photographer’s Perspective – Embracing Light and Shadow
Photographing this scene at Meigetsu-in was a rewarding experience. The challenge was to capture the vivid interplay between the sunlit maple leaves and the vibrant blue hydrangeas. By finding shade and carefully adjusting the exposure, I aimed to highlight the delicate balance of light and shadow. The historical gate in the background provided a serene context, allowing the natural beauty of the scene to shine through.
