Turquoise Azusa River: Morning View from Kasumizawa Bridge

jsqwebmaster, 06/23/202405/17/2025

Azusa River flows, turquoise and free,
In Kamikochi’s tranquility, beneath the trees,
Morning whispers through fresh green hue,
Nature’s beauty, always true.

Photo Description – Morning at Azusa River

From Kasumizawa Bridge, this view captures the turquoise beauty of the Azusa River, framed by the fresh green trees on its banks. The river, full of spring meltwater, displays a striking blue that harmonizes beautifully with the lush greenery.

Story Behind the Photo – A Morning Stroll Along the Azusa River

In early June, I set out early in the morning, walking along the Azusa River from Myojin Bridge to Kasumizawa Bridge. It took about two and a half hours to reach the bridge. Although the sky was mostly cloudy, the turquoise blue of the river, filled with spring meltwater, was breathtaking. I stood on the bridge, mesmerized by the river’s beauty.

From an Amateur Photographer’s Perspective – Capturing the Turquoise Blue

Walking along the Azusa River, I was captivated by its vivid turquoise blue. Without a polarizing filter, I couldn’t reduce the surface reflections, but I still managed to capture the stunning color of the river. The clear, calm water reflected the surrounding greenery, perfectly showcasing Kamikochi’s natural beauty in this photograph.
