Kamikochi’s Natural Elegance: A Sunset Stroll by Azusa River

jsqwebmaster, 06/16/202406/15/2024

Azusa River’s water flows quietly,
Golden light filters through the trees,
In nature’s embrace, the evening comes,
A place so serene and at ease.

Photo Description – Illuminated Riverbank Tranquility

This image captures the serene beauty of Kamikochi in early summer. The late afternoon sun gently illuminates the lush green trees along the banks of the Azusa River. The trees frame the scene like a natural window, providing a peaceful view of the calm river below.

Story Behind the Photo – On the Way to Myojinkan

This photo was taken along the banks of the Azusa River in Kamikochi, on the way to Myojinkan. It’s about an hour’s walk from Kappabashi. In the evening, even on such a fine day, you hardly meet anyone along the path. The setting sun casting light on the Azusa River created a tranquil atmosphere, capturing the clarity of the forest air.

From an Amateur Photographer’s Perspective – Capturing Evening Tranquility

As I walked towards Myojinkan, this quiet scene caught my eye, and I stopped to take a photo. The soft evening light filtering through the trees and reflecting off the river created a magical moment. The silence of the area was profound, allowing me to capture the clear air of the forest in my photograph.
